How to get a New Zealand visa
If you are a Canadian citizen, or if you hold a New Zealand visa that is valid for 3 months or less, then you can get a 90 day tourist visa without having to attend an interview. To apply for this visa, all you need is your passport and your visa application form (which can be found online at http://www.immigration.govt.nz/forms-and-resources/visa-application-form). The cost of the visa is $60NZD ($50CDN), which must be paid in cash when you apply. If you are applying for a longer stay visa, then you will also need to provide evidence that you have enough money to support yourself for the duration of your stay in New Zealand, as well as copies of any documentation that proves your identity and citizenship (such as a driver’s licence, passport photo, etc.).
