If you are planning to travel to India, it is important that you are aware of the visa requirements and document requirements. In this article, we will list both the visa photo requirements and the visa document requirements for Indian citizens. INDIAN VISA PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
What are the Indian Visa Photo Requirements?
The Indian visa photo requirements are generally the same as for any other country, with some exceptions. The Indian visa photo requirement is a passport-style photograph, taken within the last 6 months, of the applicant’s full face. In addition, applicants must present a valid passport and one other form of identification with their application. Finally, applicants must also provide a photocopy of all pages of their passport.
Documents required for an Indian visa include your passport (containing both the visa application form and your photograph), two recent passport-style photographs (taken within six months of the date you submit your application), proof of residence in India (such as an electricity bill or property deed), and a non-refundable fee.
